Hubert Kaniewski Design, websites and online stores
Websites and stores that don’t get in the way. They invite people in.
I design and build websites for companies that want to sell more. I work as a small studio: I run every project personally, methodically and with a capped budget for each stage.

What are you looking for?
Every industry has its own problems. These are the ones I know from practice: I have projects in each of them and I know what works and what only looks good.
-
Online store Shopify stores built around how your customers buy. Migrations without losing sales. -
Real estate development website Development websites with an apartment finder and a blog for local SEO. -
Campaign landing page One page, one goal. For Google Ads, Meta and product launches. -
Immersive website Websites like a film: a 3D scene on scroll for brands that want to be remembered. -
Restaurant website A menu that’s easy to read on a phone, table booking and a consistent Google profile. -
Dental clinic website Clinic websites that build trust and fill the appointment calendar.
See the process on a real example.
Every project has its own case study: the starting point, the goal, the scope of work and how we got to the result.
Online store
Nuno
An artisan coffee roastery from Radom, Poland. Migration from IdoSell to Shopify, one configurator instead of dozens of separate product pages and a coffee subscription as a new sales channel.

Immersive website
Ody Sey Van
A camper van conversion workshop. A website you watch like a film: scrolling plays the journey from an empty garage to a van above the clouds. 99/100 in Lighthouse on mobile.

The website of an invite-only ball that guides invited guests through the concept of the event all the way to accepting the invitation and buying a ticket.
Over 55% conversion

586,720 impressions
A housing estate website, an apartment sales path and a blog for local SEO for a construction company near Rzeszów, Poland.
A website for a holiday apartment in the Bieszczady Mountains: the atmosphere of the place from the first screen, amenities, guest reviews and simple booking.
A complete project for a volleyball club: news, fixtures, league table, squad, tickets and a fan shop in one place.
A website for a foundation that helps young people start university in Germany: from the first impression to an application in three steps.
An unusual, experimental design for a startup that organises company retreats where technology is switched off. A project with Zuzia Prygiel.
A Webflow landing page for an accounting firm: modern remote accounting, a 3-second quote calculator and sign-up for a free consultation.
A personal project: a landing page for an Apple Watch charging case, where the 3D element is the core of the page, not decoration.
Concept project
Five steps, the same order in every project.
First we get to know your goals, then we agree what the website should look like, and only then do we build. After launch, the website is not left on its own.
- 01
Discovery
A conversation about your goals, an audit of your current site and competitors. For larger projects we meet in person.
- 02
Design
Structure, copy and design in Figma. You approve the design before a single line of code is written.
- 03
Build
Custom code for your design, integrations, fast loading and technical SEO.
- 04
Testing and launch
Checks on phones and computers, conversion tracking and the domain switch.
- 05
Growth
I watch the data after launch and fix the places where customers get stuck.
How long it takes, roughly
- Company website1 to 2 weeks
- Immersive website1 to 4 weeks
- Campaign landing page2 to 4 weeks
- Restaurant website2 to 4 weeks
- Dental clinic website2 to 4 weeks
- Real estate development website2 to 6 weeks
- Online store9 to 18 weeks
The pace depends mostly on how quickly materials and feedback arrive. You get a detailed plan together with the quote.
You know where every hour goes.
I bill hourly, with a cap for each stage. You know up front the most you will pay. You don’t overpay when obstacles come up, and you save when the work goes faster.
Hourly rate
You pay for the actual time spent. After each stage you get a time report.
A cap for every stage
Before we start, we agree a maximum budget for each stage. If I go over it, the extra is on me.
Faster means cheaper
If a stage goes more smoothly than planned, you pay less. There's no flat fee to 'use up'.
Example: the design stage is capped at 40 hours. It takes 34, you pay for 34. It takes 46, you pay for 40.
How I plan the budget
Using the example of a company website. Most of the time goes into discovery and design, because that is where changes are cheapest. A well-designed site is quicker to build, and post-launch fixes are small rather than structural.

Hi, I’m Hubert.
I design websites and stores that have a specific goal. For me a website is always a means to an end: design consistent with the brand, clear UX, a simple checkout and fast code.
I work like a small studio. I run every project personally, from the first call to optimisation after launch. When a project needs it, I bring in trusted specialists, but you talk to me and I am responsible for the result.
I’m based in Masovia, near Warsaw, and work in English with clients from abroad. For larger projects I travel to the first meeting.
Before you call.
How much does a website or store cost?
It depends on the scope, so I don’t work from a price list. After the first call you get a quote with a maximum budget for each stage. You pay for the actual time spent, and if I go over the cap, you don’t pay more.
How long does a project take?
A company website usually takes 1 to 2 weeks, a campaign landing page 2 to 4, a real estate website 2 to 6 and an online store 9 to 18 weeks. The pace depends mostly on how quickly content and feedback arrive.
Which platforms do you work with?
I build online stores on Shopify. Company websites on Webflow if you want to edit content yourself, or as fast static sites on Cloudflare, like Ody Sey Van. I choose the platform to fit the goal, not the other way round.
Do you work with clients outside Poland?
Yes. I’m based near Warsaw and work remotely in English, for example on the Rovo campaign in Germany. Calls and project materials can be fully in English. For larger projects I can travel to the first meeting.
What do I get at the end of the project?
A working website or store, the design files and documentation, together with a walkthrough. You can take everything over or keep working with me on further development. That is a decision for after launch.
Can I end the collaboration midway?
Yes. Either side can end the collaboration after the current stage is delivered. The stages are set up so that someone else can continue from their results without losing anything.
