Online store
A store that doesn’t get in the way. It invites people to buy.
I design and build Shopify stores: from scratch for new businesses, and as a migration for companies that already sell and want to sell more. Local payment methods, shipping options, invoicing and order management integrations work from day one.
Available now
The problems I see most often. And what I do about them.
-
On mobile, the header takes up the whole first screen and the products start several scrolls down.
A compact header, with a product or a category choice right below it.
-
One product is split across many separate pages, because every variant is its own product.
One product page with a configurator: size, colour, finish and a live price.
-
The navigation is confusing: categories grew over the years and customers don’t know where to look.
A new category structure and menu based on how customers actually search for products, tested with real users.
-
The design and brand style don’t fit the people who are supposed to buy.
User personas first: who buys, what worries them, what convinces them. Only then do I choose the style, tone of voice and photos.
-
Customers only see the shipping cost at checkout and give up.
Delivery method, pickup point and cost visible before the customer starts paying.
-
After a store migration, Google traffic drops because old URLs lead nowhere.
A 301 redirect map for every old page and daily checks for 14 days after launch.
-
Nobody knows where customers drop off.
GA4 with a full e-commerce funnel, Consent Mode and additional data from visitors who decline cookies.
Tick what you need.
The basics are already ticked. Choose the rest and send me the list on WhatsApp. Based on it, I’ll prepare a quote with a cap for each stage.
Case study.
Hubert moved our store from IdoSell to Shopify and stayed with us after launch too. Every change could be discussed calmly, and the store is much more convenient for our customers today.
NunoCoffee roastery, Shopify store Seven stages. About 11 weeks to launch.
The optimistic scenario, when feedback arrives within a few days. The dots are meetings with you. After launch I spend 2 to 4 weeks optimising the store on real data.
You know where every hour goes.
Hourly rate
You pay for the actual time spent. After each stage you get a time report.
A cap for every stage
Before we start, we agree a maximum budget for each stage. If I go over it, the extra is on me.
Faster means cheaper
If a stage goes more smoothly than planned, you pay less. There's no flat fee to 'use up'.
Example: the design stage is capped at 40 hours. It takes 34, you pay for 34. It takes 46, you pay for 40.
How I plan the budget
Using the example of an online store. Most of the time goes into discovery and design, because that is where changes are cheapest. A well-designed site is quicker to build, and post-launch fixes are small rather than structural.
- Discoveryarchitecture, brand, market
- Design and copyUI/UX, copy, wireframes
- Buildcode, integrations, speed
- Products and contentcatalogue, variants, 301s
- AnalyticsGA4, Search Console
- Testing and launchQA, test customers

Frequently asked.
Why Shopify?
Shopify is the largest and most stable e-commerce platform in the world. Hosting, security and updates are taken care of. Local standards, such as popular payment methods and pickup points, have to be added deliberately, and that is exactly my job.
I’m just starting out and don’t have a store yet. Is this for me?
Yes. I guide you through a store from scratch step by step: from the product structure and user personas, through design and build, to the first products and payments. At the start I also help you decide what you really need and what can wait.
Can you move my existing store?
Yes. I move products, customers and URLs, and redirect every old page to its new equivalent so you don’t lose your Google rankings.
How long does it take?
Usually 9 to 18 weeks, about 11 weeks to launch in the optimistic scenario, followed by 2 to 4 weeks of optimisation on real data. The pace depends mostly on how much time you can give to feedback.
How much does it cost?
Every stage has a maximum budget. You pay for the actual time spent, and if I go over the cap, you don’t pay more. I give you a specific figure after the first call and a short audit of your store.
Will I be able to edit content myself?
Yes. You change products, photos, banners and copy in the Shopify admin without a developer. At the end of the project I walk you through it.
